Proturaの系統に関する下記の論文が公表された．

ミトコンドリアと核のDNA情報を用いてProturaの異なったレベルでの系統体系を議論したもの。DNAに関しては不勉強のため、十分理解できていない。
今回の結果では、Eosentomataがbasal、次いでSinentomata、Acerentomataが最後。いずれにせよまだ多くの種でDNAや形態レベルので情報が必要．
精子、偽眼、核の構造（形態）の情報では、これまでの体系と今回の結果はでは一致しない。また、気門の有無についても反対の傾向が認められた。
